After consulting and certification, the steel construction is measured. This is a further component of our total management concept. We determine the precise glass dimensions with the help of photometric measurement. The more exact the glass dimensions, the more smoothly the glass elements can be integrated later. Based on this procedure, we can examine the welding seams and edges of the steel construction, calling for reworking if necessary. This also allows us to detect flaws on the outer walls. After specifying the glass dimensions, drafts are created which will serve as the basis for the glass production. An additional advantage of this procedure is the production of moulds that correspond precisely with the subsequent glass elements. These moulds allow for simultaneous work on board. In this way, trowel applications can continue being performed on the outer walls of the ship. Interior work can also proceed. Once the glass is ready for assembly, the moulds are easily removed.
